Last weekend I went to Delhi Zoo with some of my friends and had good fun there.. Here are few photographs clicked inside the Delhi Zoo..

Here are few photographs clicked inside the Delhi Zoo.. Watchful yet lazy tiger among medium high grassTiger looks like it has eaten its fullWhite Tigers in Delhi Zoo: Compared to orange tigers without the white gene, white tigers tend to be larger both at birth and at full adult size. Currently, several hundred white tigers are in captivity worldwide with about 100 of them in India, and their numbers are on the increase.For more details Click HereLioness looks like she is yawningLioness in Delhi Zoo : There are two places where Lions can be seen inside Delhi Zoo. One is behind the place where you see lot of Giraffes walking in a big ward. Other one is near Crocodile pond. Emu is also the second-largest extant bird in the world by height, after its ratite relative, the ostrich. Same thing happened with us and we realized that we missed some animals :(.... SO PLAN YOUR ROUTE BEFORE STARTING ZOO EXPLORATION...The Delhi Zoo is an ideal place to spend a day with friends, family and children. The experience is fun and educational as well. The Zoo at Delhi was set up in 1957 over a sprawling expanse of 240 acres area. Animals have been imported from various jungles of Asia, America, Africa and Australia and no stone has been left unturned to preserve their natural environment and habitat.A day spent at the Delhi Zoo may be a peaceful picnic, observing these exotic creatures at close quarters and learning more about their habitat, feeding habits and lifecycle. The zoo is also a botanist’s paradise. Many different varieties of trees and shrubs are found here.The Delhi Zoo remains closed on Friday and on other days the zoo timings are 8 am to 6 pm in summers and 9 am to 5 pm in winters. An admission fee of Rs. 10 per head is charged at the Delhi Zoo.I have tried to share Photographs of most the animals in Delhi Zoo. Here are few photographs clicked inside the Delhi Zoo.. Watchful yet lazy tiger among medium high grassTiger looks like it has eaten its fullWhite Tigers in Delhi Zoo: Compared to orange tigers without the white gene, white tigers tend to be larger both at birth and at full adult size. Currently, several hundred white tigers are in captivity worldwide with about 100 of them in India, and their numbers are on the increase.For more details Click HereLioness looks like she is yawningLioness in Delhi Zoo : There are two places where Lions can be seen inside Delhi Zoo. One is behind the place where you see lot of Giraffes walking in a big ward. Other one is near Crocodile pond. Emu is also the second-largest extant bird in the world by height, after its ratite relative, the ostrich. SO PLAN YOUR ROUTE BEFORE STARTING ZOO EXPLORATION...The Delhi Zoo is an ideal place to spend a day with friends, family and children. The experience is fun and educational as well. The Zoo at Delhi was set up in 1957 over a sprawling expanse of 240 acres area. Animals have been imported from various jungles of Asia, America, Africa and Australia and no stone has been left unturned to preserve their natural environment and habitat.A day spent at the Delhi Zoo may be a peaceful picnic, observing these exotic creatures at close quarters and learning more about their habitat, feeding habits and lifecycle. The zoo is also a botanist’s paradise. Many different varieties of trees and shrubs are found here.The Delhi Zoo remains closed on Friday and on other days the zoo timings are 8 am to 6 pm in summers and 9 am to 5 pm in winters. Watchful yet lazy tiger among medium high grassTiger looks like it has eaten its fullWhite Tigers in Delhi Zoo: Compared to orange tigers without the white gene, white tigers tend to be larger both at birth and at full adult size. Main places to see & Top things to do around Dalhousie : Stunning Hill Station in Himalayan State of India

  Dalhousie is one of the most popular Hill Stations in Himachal  and there is lot to explore around Dalhousie. This is small and very well maintained town in Chamba region of Himachal Pradesh . This Photo Journey shares some of the exciting places around Chamba and how to plan a good one day tour through Khajjiar, Chamba & Chamera etc. CHAMERA HYDROLIC PROJECT Chamera Hydroelectric Project is located in Banikhet, 7 kms from Dalhousie. The water body near the lake is very scenic and is a popular boating spot. Chamera Dam is around 40 kilometers from Chamba Town. It takes approximately 1.5 hrs to reach the place is road condition is good. Overall it’s a little dry terrain as compared to Dalhousie and Khajjiar. And temperature also goes up as we go towards Chamera Dam.  As you move out from Chamba town, you follow Ravi river for some time and then take right. After 45 minutes of drive, you get a glimpse of Chemera Dam.
