Visiting Baba Balak Nath's shrine in Himachal once a year is a tradition in my in-laws' family. We usually drive there from Delhi, however, in 2006, we decided to take a train to Una and then a taxi from there to Deotsidh where the Shrine is situated.
Panoramic view of the Govind Sagar
The railway station of Una was a very pleasant contrast to the crowded stations of Delhi. It had just two plaforms that were almost empty. The authorities had even done some landscaping and there were some beautiful flower beds on the platform.

The drive from the station to the shrine was amazingly scenic owing to the good monsoon rains. Rest of the description is mostly by the means of pictures.
