Solang Valley @ Manali, Himachal Pradesh : Valley of Sports

This is a splendid valley between Solang village and Beas Kund. Solang valley offers the view of glaciers and snow capped mountains and peaks.

Solang valley is in Himachal Pradesh, India and is known for its summer and winter sports. The sports most commonly offered are parachuting, paragliding, skating and zorbing. Giant slopes of lawn comprise Solang Valley and provide it its reputation as a popular ski resort. Paragliding is the most demanding sport here. Most of the tourists try it... There are different places from where it starts. Best one is on the top of a hill on the left side. The view from the top of this hill is spectacular. They ask for good amount of money for different rides but one should negotiate for 40% discount :)
