Tourism is an important industry in McLeodganj, but many tourists come here to study Tibetan culture, crafts, Yoga, Meditaion etc. The town is also known for Tibetan handicrafts, thangkas, Tibetan carpets, garments and other souvenirs.
Triund is an average trek from Mcleodganj. From McLeodganj it takes you about four hours to reach Triund. One can reach the snowline at Illaqa after an hour or so by climbing energetically from upper Dharmshala.
BHagsunag is small place near Mcleodganj which is approximately 2 km from Mcleodganj and can be approached through road on feet... Vehicles can also go till BHagsunag Temple... There is a Shiva Temple at BHagsunag and fresh water springs which is considered as holy place to take bath...
The road towards BHagsunag is full of tourists to see Waterfall and Temple with fresh water springs...
This road leads to Chamunda Devi from Dharmshala... Scenic beauty on the way to Chamunda compels to stop the car after every 5 minutes drive.. Its really amazing drive from Dharmshala to Palampur through Chamunda Valley, Tea-Gardens & beutiful views of snow covered Hills...
There is small trek of 2 Kms from BHagsunag Temple to reach BHagsu Falls, which is a beautil waterfall on hilltop...
