As a budding photographer, if you ever hear about an upcoming flower show in your area, make it a point to visit. I assure you that you will get some excellent shots. Consider, for example, the following:
This green flower(?) looks almost metallic in this shot. On contrasting it with the bright green stem at the bottom-right and the grey, blurred background, I am able to bring out the life in it.
Even the gradual blooming of the flower looks like an exquisite moment here in this snap. It is as if it was caught in the act of coming out of its shell.
A myriad of colors with a little tweaking of exposure gives these flowers an unearthly look.
There are only two major colors in the picture, Pink and Black. The magnificient Dahlia is all that it takes to make this picture worth putting on this blog.
