Recently our team got an opportunity to try their hands at painting at a team outing. It wasn't an easy task but all of them came up with masterpieces of their own by the end of it.
This was a sample of the mask that we were supposed to come up with... Initially we had to select any shape which we want to color and everyone had different choices but no decision after 15 minutes.. Finally we decided to take these masks for all and color them....
The tools that we were supposed to use... Initially we thought that process of coloring these masks would be very easy, but it was not the case... Whenever we were coloring these masks, it used to soak the colors quickly and if we try color that area again, it was either mixing with the existing color and removing the old one... Not as easy as painting on paper or fabrics with oil colors....
The cups that contained the brushes were apparently created by painters very much like us.... Now everyone was ready to start painting these masks... What to know how it goes, check out http://www.thecolourfactory.in/how.htm
There were several painted cups and the paintings were like modern art. I am not sure that this was the intention of the painters though.
People at various stages of their artistic journeys - Nandan already hard at work, Ankit picking up the brush, Priyanka waiting for an inspiration. :-)
Inspiration struck!! Why's Ankit's face so blue?
Some people looked very much at ease with the task at hand though. I don't know what Nandan is scratching off his face here...
Natural progression from Ankit's blue face to Anurag's purple one...
Beautiful...Some are born with natural talents of making people go green...
A rude face sticking its tongue out... Nice shades of Blacks...
Courtesy the colour factory... Color Factory guys will glaze and fire these masks and return the finished peices within a week.. We are waiting for the final outcome now :)
Now its time to have lunch and Big Chill !!!
