Next Journey of MTB Himachal 2010 on its 7th Day - Chavadh to Narkanada-01

It was second day of MTB Himachal 2010 and we were heading towards beautiful camping site in Narkanada which was our last  camping of MTB Himachal 2010... Day started from Chavad and we started moving towards Shimla along Satluj River and hit national highway 22.. Mountain Terrain Biking event in Himachal is a good adventurous activity for folks who love to drive these engineless two-wheelers.... It provide a very different kinds of challenges in himalayan terrains with unmatchable natural beauty... I met some of the riders who have their own tents and they go to these unknown places in groups and enjoy their vacations... I met one rider who was from Dehradun and him group went to Dharmshala from Delhi.. and they used to plant their tents anywhere they wanted... Any beautiful place in forests or anything else... Can you imagine the kind of joy in these kinds of trips..Local folks looking at MTB riders and amazed by their speed of riding bikes on those difficult terrains... Sometimes their expressions say that its a normal thing and why you are so dressed up to ride a cycle here :)It was a long journey of 500 kilometers during 8 days of MTB Himachal 2010... and finally they were about to hit the end of it.. It was feel-good thing but of course we were disappointed by the fact that its going to end after one day.. and all of us need to get back to our routine lives... I met some of the riders who have their own tents and they go to these unknown places in groups and enjoy their vacations... I met one rider who was from Dehradun and him group went to Dharmshala from Delhi.. and they used to plant their tents anywhere they wanted... Any beautiful place in forests or anything else... Can you imagine the kind of joy in these kinds of trips..Local folks looking at MTB riders and amazed by their speed of riding bikes on those difficult terrains... Sometimes their expressions say that its a normal thing and why you are so dressed up to ride a cycle here :)It was a long journey of 500 kilometers during 8 days of MTB Himachal 2010... and finally they were about to hit the end of it.. It was feel-good thing but of course we were disappointed by the fact that its going to end after one day.. and all of us need to get back to our routine lives... Chavad - Nagaan - Nimala - Baihna - Chhavati - Loohari - Neerath - Kiriti - Chimla - Nog - Kumarsen - Badogi - Daibu - Jogsha - Madhavani - Doja --- NarkanadaMTB Himachal rider flighting to reach early at the final point where time-keepers are standing to note down the records ... Although Ajay was leading the race but everyone had passion to beat their earlier record times... PHOTOQUEST cab reached a forest much before MTB riders and it was chilling out there... All of us collected some wood and had bonfire in the forest... Our final destination Narkanda was just 6 kilometers from tis place and we didn't want to miss some shots at this place... We waited for riders and spent around 45 minutes doing some other chit-chat.... Above photograph shows one of the rider from leading group on 7th day of MTB Himachal...Our hard work and a rider doing the same in the background of this photograph....Ravi, Surbhit, Varun and Padam enjoying in a dense forest near Narkanada.. Main places to see & Top things to do around Dalhousie : Stunning Hill Station in Himalayan State of India

  Dalhousie is one of the most popular Hill Stations in Himachal  and there is lot to explore around Dalhousie. This is small and very well maintained town in Chamba region of Himachal Pradesh . This Photo Journey shares some of the exciting places around Chamba and how to plan a good one day tour through Khajjiar, Chamba & Chamera etc. CHAMERA HYDROLIC PROJECT Chamera Hydroelectric Project is located in Banikhet, 7 kms from Dalhousie. The water body near the lake is very scenic and is a popular boating spot. Chamera Dam is around 40 kilometers from Chamba Town. It takes approximately 1.5 hrs to reach the place is road condition is good. Overall it’s a little dry terrain as compared to Dalhousie and Khajjiar. And temperature also goes up as we go towards Chamera Dam.  As you move out from Chamba town, you follow Ravi river for some time and then take right. After 45 minutes of drive, you get a glimpse of Chemera Dam.
