Riders getting ready for 7th Day of MTB Himachal 2010 @ Shavad - 29th Oct 2010-01

It was almost the ending of MTB and we had to move from our second last camping site at Shavad village... It was a high school ground where we had installed our tents... Now it was time to move on and pack all our stuff for next journey... Some of the school children were coming early to school to watch the flag of the day by Principal of Government High School Shavad... Here are few photographs of that morning when various riders are indulged in lot of different activities... Check out !!!

He was in 'more' action on second last day of MTB Himachal 2010 and showed us lot of stunts on cycle and motor-bike... He was simply awesome... I don't know if someone has video of these stunts or not... If I don't find in net few weeks, I can create one out of the photographs I have... I was not ready for this moment and missed some part of all this.. We were busy in having breakfast on other part of the ground...Here is a photograph showing our camp at Shavadh government school ground. You see some of the tented have been packed on the left bottom of this photograph.... So all the riders are out of their tents and breakfast is being served near pink tent on the right top... Mr. Sameer explaining something to other riders of MTB Himachal 2010 ..A Maharashtra Policeman @ MTB Himachal 2010 .... He has participated in various contents within India and outside in bike riding... A photography enthusiast and planning to an exhibition with some of his friends in West Bengal and Maharshtra...Dutta Ji, another rider from Maharshtra who doesn't wear shoes by choice... A very gentle guy and I never saw fatigue on his face even after toughest stretches of MTB 2010...Few more stunts with motorbike... Mr. Aneesh also showed few stunts with his bike and he was not able to showcase all due to less space in that ground... Everyone was very excited to see all this and no one wanted it to stop... But suddenly a call for flag-off broke the pleasant environment of high energy stunts... Mr. Ajay who has been asking me about his photographs and I am feeling very sorry that first photograph of Ajay is with closed eyes :) But he is still looking handsome here... So let me introduce Ajay... He is video enthusiast, an extremely talented creative director and has worked on various projects in short span of his career... We all are waiting for his final video on MTB Himachal 2010...During these 8 days of MTB Himachal I have seen passion of each and every rider ... Although had some bad experiences during this and bad should not be highlighted unless the responsible people say no for improving further :) One of the rider from Kullu and MTB Himachal 2010 was his first experiment with bike riding on real himalayan terrains... But he was disappointed by the fact that they are not following the initially planned terrain.. Actually when he registered for MTB Himachal, he was told about a different route and that was not the reality in the end... But all this happens when weather is not with you during the final event... I had a quick chance to meet him on Mall Road after completion of the event at Ritz and he expressed his opinion which should not be disclosed here :)Another rider @ Shavad during MTB Himachal 2010... I think he is also from Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh.. So there lot many local riders from Himachal only...Jogi Bhai, an interesting fellow from Manali and always smiling... We had lot many chats with him and enjoyed all of them.. a fan of his own bike and take care of her like anything :) He was also excited to see bikes with Army riders and dreaming of one like that... Riders getting ready for 7th Day of MTB Himachal 2010 @ Shavad - 29th Oct 2010-01 : Posted by VJ SHARMA on www.travellingcamera.com : It was almost the ending of MTB and we had to move from our second last camping site at Shavad village... It was a high school ground where we had installed our tents... Now it was time to move on and pack all our stuff for next journey... Some of the school children were coming early to school to watch the flag of the day by Principal of Government High School Shavad... We all are waiting for his final video on MTB Himachal 2010...During these 8 days of MTB Himachal I have seen passion of each and every rider ... Although had some bad experiences during this and bad should not be highlighted unless the responsible people say no for improving further :) One of the rider from Kullu and MTB Himachal 2010 was his first experiment with bike riding on real himalayan terrains... But he was disappointed by the fact that they are not following the initially planned terrain.. Actually when he registered for MTB Himachal, he was told about a different route and that was not the reality in the end... But all this happens when weather is not with you during the final event... I had a quick chance to meet him on Mall Road after completion of the event at Ritz and he expressed his opinion which should not be disclosed here :)Another rider @ Shavad during MTB Himachal 2010... I think he is also from Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh.. So there lot many local riders from Himachal only...Jogi Bhai, an interesting fellow from Manali and always smiling... We had lot many chats with him and enjoyed all of them.. a fan of his own bike and take care of her like anything :) He was also excited to see bikes with Army riders and dreaming of one like that... Hope to see you soon, Jogi !!!Again Aneesh playing with his cycle... He gets bored if he drive the vehicles in normal way.. be it a motorbike, cycle or car... Jimsee in Acton !!! Riders getting ready for 7th Day of MTB Himachal 2010 @ Shavad - 29th Oct 2010-01 : Posted by VJ SHARMA on www.travellingcamera.com : It was almost the ending of MTB and we had to move from our second last camping site at Shavad village... It was a high school ground where we had installed our tents... Now it was time to move on and pack all our stuff for next journey... Some of the school children were coming early to school to watch the flag of the day by Principal of Government High School Shavad... Here are few photographs of that morning when various riders are indulged in lot of different activities... Check out !!! : Here is Mr Aneesh, one of the champions of MTB group !!! He was in 'more' action on second last day of MTB Himachal 2010 and showed us lot of stunts on cycle and motor-bike... He was simply awesome... I don't know if someone has video of these stunts or not... If I don't find in net few weeks, I can create one out of the photographs I have... I was not ready for this moment and missed some part of all this.. We were busy in having breakfast on other part of the ground...Here is a photograph showing our camp at Shavadh government school ground. You see some of the tented have been packed on the left bottom of this photograph.... So all the riders are out of their tents and breakfast is being served near pink tent on the right top... Riders discussing the strategy for the day :) I am not sure what's the topics of their discussion but I enjoyed lot of discussions with this group .. . Mr. Sameer explaining something to other riders of MTB Himachal 2010 ..A Maharashtra Policeman @ MTB Himachal 2010 .... He has participated in various contents within India and outside in bike riding... A photography enthusiast and planning to an exhibition with some of his friends in West Bengal and Maharshtra...Dutta Ji, another rider from Maharshtra who doesn't wear shoes by choice... A very gentle guy and I never saw fatigue on his face even after toughest stretches of MTB 2010...Few more stunts with motorbike... Mr. Aneesh also showed few stunts with his bike and he was not able to showcase all due to less space in that ground... Everyone was very excited to see all this and no one wanted it to stop... But suddenly a call for flag-off broke the pleasant environment of high energy stunts... Mr. Ajay who has been asking me about his photographs and I am feeling very sorry that first photograph of Ajay is with closed eyes :) But he is still looking handsome here... So let me introduce Ajay... He is video enthusiast, an extremely talented creative director and has worked on various projects in short span of his career... Main places to see & Top things to do around Dalhousie : Stunning Hill Station in Himalayan State of India

  Dalhousie is one of the most popular Hill Stations in Himachal  and there is lot to explore around Dalhousie. This is small and very well maintained town in Chamba region of Himachal Pradesh . This Photo Journey shares some of the exciting places around Chamba and how to plan a good one day tour through Khajjiar, Chamba & Chamera etc. CHAMERA HYDROLIC PROJECT Chamera Hydroelectric Project is located in Banikhet, 7 kms from Dalhousie. The water body near the lake is very scenic and is a popular boating spot. Chamera Dam is around 40 kilometers from Chamba Town. It takes approximately 1.5 hrs to reach the place is road condition is good. Overall it’s a little dry terrain as compared to Dalhousie and Khajjiar. And temperature also goes up as we go towards Chamera Dam.  As you move out from Chamba town, you follow Ravi river for some time and then take right. After 45 minutes of drive, you get a glimpse of Chemera Dam.
