KARNA - A Theater play by second year students of National School of Drama !!! (24th to 29th May 2011)
Last month (May 2011), Second year students of National School of Drama performed a play called Karna in Abhimanch Auditorium. Here are some photographs form this play with some description about the play !!!
This is a play about the life of Karna who is an important character in Mahabharata !!!
Play starts with the childhood of Karana and then becoming a Yudha with all appropriate things !!!
This play had wonderful lighting and Music !!!
Some of the characters of Karna Play singing a beautiful song during the beginning of this play !!! Some of them plays the role of Pandvas, their mother and other shoodr girls from the village...

Krishna was continuously talking to Arjuna and motivating him to not stop and continue towards the win !
When Karna dies in the war, play starts talking about various 'Shraps' he had got during his life...
Here is Kunti explaining about the incident which caused the birth of Karna and explaning to her sons that he was their elder brother.
After death, there was a confusion about the final ceremonies - who will do it ? Shoodr family, who took care of Karna all through his life from childhood or the original mother? Kunti took his dead body and the shoodr village continued with their local ceremonies...
A wonderful play with amazing lighting and sound !!! The music used between various scenes was wonderful !!!
