During last to last weekend I was out in Punjab for Rakhi vacations and 15th August ! After some wonderful time with my sister at Phagwara (Near Ludhiana), I went to Chandigarh which is my favorite place :) .... I can never miss to stop in Chandigarh during any of the visit to Himachal Pradesh or Punjab !!!
This time vacations were spent inside one room watching TV for news about Anti Corruption movement by Anna Hazare... During evening we came out, because it's unfair to not visit Sector-17 if you are in Chandigarh :)
I was staying in Mohali. So the photograph clicked above shows a small village on the way to Chandigarh !!!
Just outside Naresh's home !!! Colors of sky were amazing after rains during the day !!! The orangish tint of sunset is making it more beautiful !!

I am a huge fan of Chandigarh and every time I visit the city, I get to know about new and good things about it !!! I never saw bad state of road, most of the folks follow traffic rules etc...
Sunset views in various parts of city looks different and beautiful... When I said this, my friend replied that sunset colors change with time and you can't visit all the places at same point of time !!!
We had to drop on of our friend in Sector 42 for some official work... After dropping her at market, we moved towards the lake near by....
It was first time I visiting this lake.... I have been to Sukhana Lake which is most popular one in Chandigarh...
Here is huge ground in front of the 42 sector lake... Families come here during the evenings and spend some good time with their loved ones...
But unfortunately this lake was dry and it was intentional for cleaning purpose... This lake will have water during Deepawali again..
