Stow-on-the-wold was the last stop in Cotswolds and this was a bad decision on the part of the organizers because after the pastel prettiness of Bourton on the Water, Stow-on-the-Wold appeared pretty average. Historically, it is a market town that was situated at the convergence of many important roads. And even today, the main part of the town is the market. We only had 45 mins here and, therefore, not much time to explore. Though we had run out of things to do already after this time.
Hannah, our scamperer, is in a hurry to get to the next antique shop. While Kelsey McTexty and myself strolled behind.
One of the modern looking streets leading into the market square. The street was totally out of character when compared to the visual appeal of rest of the town.
The other side of the St. Edward's Hall. The Hall now houses the public library.
This was the last stop in Cotswolds during our trip. However, there was one more stop and it was Shakespeare's Straford Upon Avon. Watch out for the next post.
