After lot of fun during day at Kullu Sarahan, it was time for bonfire and some dance on local beats of Himachal !!! All this was unplanned and happened accidentally :) To know more about the whole story behind it, check out this PHOTO JOURNEY with some caption shared...
During day time, some of us were roaming inside village and met a person who showed interest in our group and started chatting about our purpose of visiting their village etc... We also had some interesting people in our gang, who engaged him well and while coming back to our camps, that villager asked if we are interested in listening to Himachali Music. And we said- why not !!! While our conversation with him, we had concluded that he was drunk and no-one is going to come... Even we had not even thought that they will seriously come with all their instruments with them...
Usually MTB evening are very boring. Everyone just have some beers and go back to their tents for a warm sleep on chilling hills... This evening was different and special... These folks came at our camp and all of us were really shocked. We offered some snacks and then they started playing music... The person who arranged all this, started dancing on those beats.. For some time everyone was hesitating to get up and dance although dance steps & music was amazing...
Here is a photograph of Himachali musicians from Kullu Sarahan and the person dancing on left side of bonfire arranged all this. All folks form our camp standing in the background and listening to these sweet beats...
Soon after, Mr. Rohit Sharama started singing some folks songs of USA (Upper Shimla Area :) ) ... and his troop joined in for dance... Now there was lot of energy in whole environment and almost everyone danced on those beats... I still remember Mr. Andre learning and dancing Himachali Natti... He was dancing with regular counting of 1,2,3,4...5,6,7,8 !! And his steps were amazing... Since I had to dance so couldn't click much :)
Mr. Aneesh, who is one of the main person who helped in orgazing this wonderful evening. This photograph was shot inside Sarahan village and Aneesh made new friends there...
Mr. Rohit Sharama, our Gyan baba who keep banting gyan to everyone he can catch... Here he made people sing almost every famous song of Himachal Pradesh.. Few folks sitting here belonged to Chamba and they sung 'Amma Puchhdi' very well... I have a video and will try to share that soon...
And he is the guy from Chamba who sung that wonderful song beautifully... and you can very well guess that the reasoning behind his profound sound :)
Mr. Rohit Sharma (Urf Khachi bhai), who made this evening great and I think those were really special moments of whole trip of 8 days in Himalayas...
All these photographs were clicked during Mountain Terrain Biking event in Himachal. It was forth day of the event and a rest day at Sarahan.
