Lunar Eclipse 2011 @ Jantar Mantar, Delhi, INDIA (10th Dec, 2011)

There are have been lot of PHOTO JOURNEYs from Jantar Matar in Delhi, but this one is little different from all others. Most of the others are from daytime or evenings and this time we had special permissions from Archeological Survey of India. So let's check out this Photo Journey from Eclipse Evening on 10th December 2011...Almost every monument in Delhi well lit after sunset, but unfortunately all of them get closed before sunset. Some of Photo Enthusiasts from Delhi College of Arts had arranged permissions on Lunar Eclipse day (10th December, 2011). They had been divided into groups to cover various monuments in Delhi. It was very well planned project and everyone was all set with their Cameras, Lenses, Tripods and Laptops etc.We had to actually go to Humayun Tomb, but all permission papers were with us. So came to Jantar Mantar for handling them to relevant folks and move ahead. The group at Jantar Mantar needed some help in setup, as they were not very well versed with the graphs of moon movement. Ankit spent some time setting all the things right and in the mean time I clicked these photographs at Yantra Mandir of Delhi.While clicking this photograph I realized that we are already for reaching the actual spot, where we were appointed. Main places to see & Top things to do around Dalhousie : Stunning Hill Station in Himalayan State of India

  Dalhousie is one of the most popular Hill Stations in Himachal  and there is lot to explore around Dalhousie. This is small and very well maintained town in Chamba region of Himachal Pradesh . This Photo Journey shares some of the exciting places around Chamba and how to plan a good one day tour through Khajjiar, Chamba & Chamera etc. CHAMERA HYDROLIC PROJECT Chamera Hydroelectric Project is located in Banikhet, 7 kms from Dalhousie. The water body near the lake is very scenic and is a popular boating spot. Chamera Dam is around 40 kilometers from Chamba Town. It takes approximately 1.5 hrs to reach the place is road condition is good. Overall it’s a little dry terrain as compared to Dalhousie and Khajjiar. And temperature also goes up as we go towards Chamera Dam.  As you move out from Chamba town, you follow Ravi river for some time and then take right. After 45 minutes of drive, you get a glimpse of Chemera Dam.
