Apart from my heavy SLR Camera, I also carry a small Mobile phone by HTC which has a decent camera to shoot day pics anytime. All the photographs shared in this post are clicked by my Mobile Phone and I call it Mobilegiri :)
The recent trip to Himachal Pradesh was quite exciting for different reasons. One of the reasons was meeting new friends during the journey. Here I am not talking about Parikshit. It's Billu, who is in his hands. A cute kitten. who met us on the way at Shawadh in kullu District.
Everyone wanted to spend some time with this kitten. Aneesh is also trying to save her from chilly morning in Hills. He also took care of breakfast and all.
After few minutes with Aneesh, she was quite comfortable and started climbing up. Here she is sitting on him shoulder. I love her expressions in this photograph, while covered in warm jacket.
Here some another dear friend, Pradumn. We met him at Tani Jubber. He was here to visit his Grandparents, otherwise he stays in Shimla. His Grandmother is standing in the background and not sure if you noticed Apple orchard in the background. Anyway, there is hardly any clue to guess that it's an apple orchard :)
He was quite shy in the beginning and after few minutes of talk with Rohit (Khachi), he started dancing on 'Chhamakk Challo' form Ra-One :)
During this trip, we also crossed Shilaroo Hockey Stadium which is considered as highest Hockey ground in Asia.
It's located just roadside, surrounded by high peaks of Hatu on one side.
Throughout the trip we stayed in tents but always tried to find a decent hotel for bath :) ... Although hot water was available at camps but adventurous bath-tents were not very convenient :) This was one of the hotel near Narkanda and Hatu.
Here is a diversion for Hatu Peak from main road which connects Narkanda with Thanedar. Hatu peak is one of the popular place among Bollywood directors. Many movies are shot at this place.
There were some talented bikers accompanying us. Specifically Aneesh, who drove me up till Hatu Peak and parked his bike here on top of a rock, which was not accessible through road. He drove his bike through different hills to reach this point.
Here is a view of Hatu Temple from other side of the hill, which has amazing view to the valley in the foothills, dangerous as well. I am very scared when Aneesh was driving his bike on this hill and stopped just on edge.
One of the view of Hills in Himachal on a cloudy day, which is most suitable for shooting any horror movie. Kali Ghanghor ghata types..
One of the orchard house where we stayed for one night. It was in Tani Jubber and thanks to Pawan for all the arrangements at this place. Hot water was must thing during those days and it was like most precious thing for us.
Here is another photograph from Orchard house in Tani Jubber, when we were moving ahead in the morning.
Tani Jubber Lake in the morning...
A photograph inside tent. The tripod in the front is used to place bulb and have proper light inside the tent. Folks inside the tent are Rohit, Pawan, Chandan, Parikshit and Saurabh (Left to Right). Thanks to Rohit, who made all our evenings joyful with his acts on various Himachali Policians :) - 'आले à¤ाई, हेलिकोप्तल को लोका क्यों नहीं जब मैडम आ लाही थी तो :)'
Colorful camping ground of Kullu Sarahan, where we spent a complete day and two nights. It was the best place to camp and experience Himalayan Nature.
These are temporary toilets and bathrooms !!!
A temporary bridge installed to connect camps with nearest road...
Whole gang near Sarahan Waterfall. Almost everyone took bath in this chilling water !!!
A quick photograph of Kullu Sarahan Village in Himachal Pradesh....
It was breakfast time and we were sitting in Chalai fields to spot our targets for capturing in cameras. Rohit's curious look !!
A quick Mobile click from a moving car, when a mother is doing the regular morning stuff !!!
Finally this trip ended at Ridge, Shimla... A person who walk between Sanjali and Mall Road, can very well describe this place. Lots of fruit shops near lakkar Bazar !!
A typical Shimla hill with lots of highrise building on it.
This is we used to take bath during these days. On some of the days, we located decent places and on other days such small waterfalls worked for us. Although water in these streams was chilling...
