International Festival of Theatre Institutes at National School of Drama, Delhi, INDIA || Mobilegiri
Yesterday I was there in National School of Drama for something related to Bharat Rang Mahotsav. Met various NSD repretory artists, who also told me about ongoing festival called - Ifti 'International festival of Theatre Institutes'. At NSD I had to meet Sukumar Tudu, one of the senior theatre artist from NSD Repretory. It was about Bharat Rang Mahotsav and NSD seemed almost prepared for this festival, which is starting today. Sharmila Tagore is chief guest for first evening, today.
We met near Sammukh Auditorium of National School of Drama. There were some different posters were hanging around the area. On asking I got to know about IFTI, International Festival of Theatre institutes.
At IFTI, various theater institute from different states of India and other countries participate. It provides a common platform to Theater artists, where they can discuss different theater styles and various other relevant things they can learn fro each other.
After doing all work related to Bharat Rang Mahotsav, we entered into one of the section where International festival of Theatre Institutes was going on. Above Photograph shows some of the artifacts places on entrance.
Posters from various plays done by various productions across the country and only few folks were sitting around the place. At that point of time, something was going on Abhimanch Auditorium. On asking from NSD folks, I got to know that some masterpieces are shown to the students and experience Directors, Actors discuss about them in detail.
Here is an area, where different Theatre related discussions take place throughout the day.

Tea break after a session at IFTI, NSD, Delhi. NSD folks arrange everything related to stay, food, transplantation etc for groups who come from other cities, states or countries.
After a busy day for students, they moved towards a the venue where one of the experimental play was happening with some of the Circus artists, who were trained with Theater Artists by one of the professor at National School of Drama.
Today we shall be going for inauguration ceremony of Bharat Rang Mahotsav and hope to share a decent Photo Journey from a place where lot of folks from Bollywood also chip in.
