Weekend Portfolio shoot on Gurgaon-Faridabad Highway - A Motorsport Shoot for Valvoline with Nitin Yadav
This Photo Journey shares some casual shots from a portfolio shoot we did last week. None of these photographs is an actual portfolio shot, but the idea is just to give a glimpse of whole setup Let's check out this PHOTO JOURNEY to know about this photoshoot in a forest reserve located on the Gurgaon-Faridabad Highway.
Above photograph shows Nitin sharing some tips for taking this gypsy into the air for the best photograph of the shoot. :)
I met Nitin, Arush, and Sarika at Gurgaon and reached this forest reserve, which is on the Gurgaon-Faridabad Highway. There is a small path that cuts towards the right and leads to this forest reserve. The road is bumpy at places.
Nitin's Gypsy and Arush's car parked in one part of the forest which would never fit in our frames. As an experienced Motorsport Photographer, Nitin knew of some things we needed to take care of. He was carrying an icebox with enough water bottles, as there was no scope of buying stuff in this forest.
Nitin is shooting Motorsports for quite some time and is also known for his wonderful HDR work. His photographs can be seen HERE. Some of his HDR photographs can be seen HERE.
This whole shoot happened during mid-day under bright sun. I know, many Photographers out here must be thinking about the choice of time. But that is a unique style of Motorsports enthusiasts :) ... Without disclosing the secret, let me tell you about the above photograph. This was shot during break time, when everyone was feeling thirsty in the scorching summer of NCR(India).
The rider and the Navigator with their machine. Sarika was brilliant with her machine and, of course, that made it easy for us to play with our cameras to get the best !!!
It was a great shoot and one of the most productive ones I have done so far. It was great to interact with Nitin and to know about his viewpoints about Motorsports in India and how things happen in this industry.
Some of the other Motorsport Photographs can be seen HERE.
