Most of these photographs are shot during Black Dog Easy Evening at Westin Hotel, Gurgaon. She sang various Madonna Numbers and her crew was amazing in the background. Two boys and Two Girls were always with her to dance on her songs. Two DJs from London were accompanying them. Above photograph shows a high energy pose of Melissa Totten, while she was singing in front of various guests at Black Dog Easy Evening.
During her performances for more than 1.5 hrs, she along with her crew changed their dresses as per the mode of Madonna Songs she sang. You will notice various photographs of Melissa Totten in different dresses. But all of them are from one show and she changed during the performance only. During the quick break, DJs played amazing music and the break for change was never boring, as it was always quick along with wonderful music.
Here is a photograph of Melissa Totten and her team in colorful dresses. Apart from wonderful Madonna songs by Melissa, it was delightful to see her dancing with her team. And I must mention that whole team was amazing in synchronizing their steps at random moments... Melissa used to join them at abrupt moments and everything was amazingly smooth.

During early 80s when Madonna was becoming one of the
popular name in various parts of the World, Melissa's friends always
used to tell her about the resemblance with Madonna. Doesn't she look
like Madonna? In fact, after seeing her performances one can feel that
energy, passion and love for music.
At Gurgaon event, DJs also played some Indian numbers mixed along with English tones. Melissa's team performed really well on Punjabi beats. Bhangra steps were performed by Melissa's team on stage.

After the event at Gurgaon, I got to interact with her for few minutes. During the conversation she mentioned about the beginning of this journey. So it started when Melissa moved to Chicago in 1988 and she studied to be
an advertising copywriter at Columbia College. It was there that she
was first approached to do occasional lookalike work for
celebrity themed corporate events. 'It felt like playing dress up for
beer money. I had no idea that there was a whole industry out there.' -
This was one of the initial thought, which made her to take first baby
step for a new career...
In 1991, friends of Melissa Totten started to realize that the Chicago Tribune's reported 'Madonna sightings' were actually Melissa (Madonna was in town filming 'A League of Their Own') and the amused columnists called her in for an interview. The next day her photo hit the papers. As per Melissa, 'I came home and had a million creepy messages on my answering machine, did radio interviews with every station in town, an interview with a London newspaper, and got an offer from Playboy for a six page spread. People would chase me down the street. I could hear keys and loose change bouncing around in peoples' pockets, getting closer and closer. I was only 22. I remember a woman dropping her groceries, and oranges rolling down Rush Street. She was a mess. People just seemed to believe what they wanted to believe. Clearly, I am not Madonna.'
