Narkanda is the place where Rashael started practicing in childhood and gradually moved to different places. Near Narkanda, there is a place called Dhomri ground which is quite popular for skiiing. Himachal has few more places as well and more details can be checked out - http://www.himachalworld.com/adventure-tourism/skiing-in-himachal.html
Not many of us know that Skiing is actually a sport in India as well. But for Rashael, Skiing is integral part of her being. She has done India proud by representing the country in various international Skiing tournaments all over the world. It requires exceptional dedication and perseverance to achieve so much in anything. Our best wishes and prayers are with her that she achieves much greater heights than she already has.
This photograph was shot during FIS training at Austria...
There is an Indian Institute of Skiing and Mountaineering in Gulmarg, which is quite popular among Skiing enthusiasts. More details about the place and what they offer, can be checked at - http://iismgulmarg.com/
