Tethy's Resort in the middle of dense forest around Narkanda Town in Shimla region of Himachal Pradesh, INDIA

It was the time, when we were on 10 days expedition in upper ranges of Himachal Pradesh. We were going through villages without touching main highways and on the way we come across this wonderful place to have some snacks and move ahead. After a long time, we though of sharing some of the Photographs we shot at Tethy's Resort.These photographs are approximately one year old, when some renovation work was under progress. This Resort has a huge building with decent facilities and few huts on the right. We couldn't check huts, so no comments about those. But they looked interesting from outside...We were at Tethy's for some tea and snacks... Some of the journalists were accompanying us who were quite familiar with the place... While the snacks were being prepared, we had a round of the resort and had a look at some of the rooms/facilities at Tethy's Resort... Above photograph shows the reception area with wonderful seating arrangements and a snooker table...Somehow, it's amazing to see very creative/artistic taste of Furniture in many of the Hilly Reosrts/Hotels. I can understand that, hilly states are rich in terms of timber n all but still some creative minds are always required to make best use of it. Main places to see & Top things to do around Dalhousie : Stunning Hill Station in Himalayan State of India

  Dalhousie is one of the most popular Hill Stations in Himachal  and there is lot to explore around Dalhousie. This is small and very well maintained town in Chamba region of Himachal Pradesh . This Photo Journey shares some of the exciting places around Chamba and how to plan a good one day tour through Khajjiar, Chamba & Chamera etc. CHAMERA HYDROLIC PROJECT Chamera Hydroelectric Project is located in Banikhet, 7 kms from Dalhousie. The water body near the lake is very scenic and is a popular boating spot. Chamera Dam is around 40 kilometers from Chamba Town. It takes approximately 1.5 hrs to reach the place is road condition is good. Overall it’s a little dry terrain as compared to Dalhousie and Khajjiar. And temperature also goes up as we go towards Chamera Dam.  As you move out from Chamba town, you follow Ravi river for some time and then take right. After 45 minutes of drive, you get a glimpse of Chemera Dam.
