Our decision to visit Chail in Himachal Pradesh couldn't have come at a better time. It was during the monsoons and all common sense was advising us against the trip. But we wanted to see greenery and clouds. And that is what we got. Plenty of it. Come see for yourself.
This strange looking plant was located right outside our hotel. I do not know the name. Can someone help in identifying it?
Some ferns emerging from behind the rocks. We spent quite some time trying to identify the various types of ferns we were seeing. These are apparently compound ferns.
Dazzling view of the valley from Kali mata ka tibba at Chail. Notice the various shades of green and the play of the light.
A green carpet of grass right outside the world's highest cricket ground, located in Chail. Makes you feel like removing your shoes and running through the grass.
This isn't a bad quality photograph. It is just the clouds who have started descending and are making the view blurred.
Thick layer of Moss covering the hill on the side of the road. We noticed that the locations that receive good amount of sunlight were preferred by this plentiful plant.
Clouds descending into the green valley. This was the view from our balconey. We were indeed blessed.
Clouds arising out of the valley. This was the second time I had seen this phenomena. The first time was also in Himachal, but at Deotsidh.
