Garry along with three friends hired a cab from San Jose and started the journey towards Yosemite in early morning. This Photo Journey shares from chilling moments form Yosemite National Park.
Usually winters is not considered as right time to visit Yosemite. The real beauty of Yosemite can be best explored during summers. All these photographs are shot during winters when Yosemite was covered with white sheet of fresh snow.
Yosemite National Park is spanning eastern portions of Tuolumne, Mariposa and Madera counties in the central eastern portion of California, United States. The park covers area of approximately 760K acres and reaches across the western slopes of the Sierra Nevada mountain chain.
Drive inside the national park is amazing and the feeling driving there can't be expressed in words. Different types of tress all around covered with snow and mist in the background makes the whole environment very beautiful.
Over
3.5 million people visit Yosemite every year. Yosemite is designated a
World Heritage Site in 1984. And now it's internationally recognized for
its spectacular granite cliffs, waterfalls, clear streams, Giant Sequoia
groves, and biological diversity.
Approximately 94% of the park is
designated wilderness.
