As a media partner of Literature Studio, the team from Photo Journey has had an opportunity of attending several workshops organized and conducted by Literature Studio. In fact I think so far I have only missed one. I enjoy going to these workshops because they take the attendees through a very productive creative process. Even though I have never considered myself a writer, I have found myself often picking up a pen and start scribbling during these workshops.
So this time I went one step ahead and actually registered myself for one of their workshop. The event promises to be a fast-paced productive one, and I am hopeful of actually writing my first fiction during it. This is the goal of the workshop that everyone goes home with one piece of flash fiction written there and then in the workshop. And the workshop also promises to leave us with several other story ideas to pursue at leisure. Moreover I feel that as a photographer, a workshop that gets us started with storytelling, will help me represent my pictures better. The skills are after all complementary.
Needless to say, I am excited.
