This one is again an old from one of the most memorable trekking experiences in Himalayan state of India. This a common berry found in Himalayan terrains and this particular photograph was clicked during our Shrikhand Mahadev trek. This Himalayan berry is known by different local names in various parts of Himachal Pradesh and Uttrakhand. The taste of these berries in tangy and they are found in different colors as well. The most popular ones are orange in color. They are found in bunches and surrounded by thorns. So it's not very easy to pluck them from the plant.
During first two days of the Shrikhand trek we had lot of these berries and they were very refreshing. I try to find them, when in Himachal. If you come across these berries, don't miss :)
