When I was in San Jose for some official work by boss took me to the tour of Sanford University. He had hired a car there and was comfortable driving there. We finished all the office work and moved towards Stanford University in the evening.
We crossed through Apple and Google offices on the way. As we hit Paulo Alto downtown, he took us to the proximity where Steve Jobs used to live. This area has huge houses and very well maintained streets. Since we didn't stop anywhere, I couldn't click much in these streets. Then we also glanced upon the Apple store in Paulo Alto where Steve Jobs used to visit frequently, especially around the product launches.
Then we finally hit the university campus. As we entered, everyone of us realized about the scale of this campus but still underestimated it :). Such a beautiful campus it is. One who enters into the campus, starts imagining about taking some course and be come a part of such great environment. We didn't have much time to explore the whole campus but in 30 minutes we got a sense of overall environment in the university. Students moving between the buildings and open areas on bicycles, groups discussing different things around the lawns and lot of action. Loved being there and this visit was the most inspiring one from this trip to USA.
