The colorful plants you see in above photograph is known as Chalai. Chalai crop is mainly famous in upper himachal region which is coldest of all the places in the state. This crop is considered as good source of warmth for human body and bread is made out of the seeds of Chalai. This is usually very colorful crop seen in Upper Kullu and Shimla region.
