Every year National School of Drama organized Bharat Rang Mahotsav in Delhi, which is a festival of Theatre. Some of the brilliant plays by groups from different parts of the world are shown in various auditoriums around Mandi House. Nationa School of Drama celebrates this festival in a great way every year. This usually happens in the month of February.
Every year, a space is created for theatre artists to get together an spend some quality time with each other. This time, the arrangements were grander. There was this beautiful place created for sitting and it was in front of the main entry gate of National School of Drama. Colorful umbrellas were used to make this place look very artistic. And every year such exciting setup can be seen in NSD campus.
Apart from this seating arrangement, a Theatre Bazar was also set this time. As always, there were some food stalls with various regional dishes available. Apart from these food stalls, there were various other shops this time. Lighting, books, show-pieces from different states of India handlooms shops and lot more. I loved the idea of allocating same space to Moongfaliwala, which is rare to find in such festival.
During evenings lot theatre artists and bollywood personalities can be seen around Theatre Bazar. It's really awesome to see some of the popular personalities like Naseerudin Shah at these theatre markets at times. Just have a look at the photograph below and I am sure that you would be able to recognize the face.
