Here is what Siddharth has to share about his journey and 'Eternal Reflections' - A journey of exploring, feeling and enjoying India through lenses which started with my first photo taken by a Kodak point and shoot reel camera during a mountaineering expedition in 1989 can never end .... And I wish it never ends. In this book I have included around 1000 photos from my journeys across India in last 25 years with matching quotations of wisdom. Photographs have been arranged based on color theme. Looking forward for your love and blessings for the book : Eternal Reflections.
On this birthday, I got this special gift. A Photo-book having 1000 photographs compiled to depict the core theme 'Eternal Reflections'. Mr. Siddharth Lakhotia is a doctor by profession and follows Photography as a passion. Here is what Siddharth expresses about the book - 'The Eternal... the timeless is reflected everywhere... whatever we see all around us... there is a reflection of that eternal in it. This book is a journey through the reflections of that eternal which can never be defined in words... can only be felt and enjoyed in the beauty of innumerable colors... of its endless manifestations, that I have tried to capture in my travels across India'. This Photo Journey shares more about the book, photographs in it and other related information.
As a Travel Photographer I loved the kind of variety this book offers and many times it inspires you to think about other dimensions of Travel & Nature Photography. Few of the things which caught my attention were - interesting patterns, texture, play of golden light, landscapes, some of the exceptional silhouettes, bird shots...
The book has beautiful compilation of 1000 photographs presented in color-based sub-themes. As you start exploring you are presented with first theme - 'Drop of Blue'.
I found it pretty interesting. Can you guess, what is the significance of these patterns?

'Pratibimb - The Reflections' , a Photography exhibition by Siddharth was also a big hit and well appreciated by art lovers & national media. While reading about Dr Siddharth Lakhotia, I came across this Times of India article about this exhibition.
So far he has done four photography exhibitions
1. Sun and its reflections
2. Dreams on wings
3. Drops of Life
4. Pratibimb : The Reflections
Most of these photographs in this book are accompanied with appropriate quotations. At times you get stuck a particular spread and start imagining about the situation when photographer would have shot & wonder about the feelings associated. I could see the amount of efforts gone in this PhotoBook. This booked is published by Moonlight Pictures and available on Flipkart as well as Amazon.com.
In second version of this book, I would prefer bigger prints and more space for these beautiful captures. In my opinion, many of these photographs would look stunning in bigger size.
If you grab this book, feel free to share your thoughts in comments here.
