The expanded second edition of Kiriti Sengupta's book My Glass of Wine will be launched at Oxford Bookstore, Connaught Place tomorrow (18th September 2015) at 6pm. Our Editorial Partner Literature Studio (www.literaturestudio.in) are organizing that event. And we, Travelling Camera (Photo Journey), are the photography partners.
Eminent scholar, critic and poet, Sukrita Paul
Kumar and Chandra Shekhar Dubey will be speaking at the event. The
launch will be followed by a discussion between Kiriti Sengupta and Vibha
Malhotra, founder of Literature Studio. The event will be moderated by Ashmi
Ahluwalia.
The first edition of My Glass of Wine was formally
declared a bestseller within a month from its release in February, 2014. The
book has been widely reviewed and appreciated in several literary journals both
in India and in the United States, and it has been inducted into the
Ryerss Museum & Library (Philadelphia, USA), a curated museum which
presents 'significant' literary work to the general reading public.
Today, on September 17 2015, the sponsors and the winners of the My Glass of Wine contest (http://literaturestudio.in/my-glass-of-wine-creative-writing-contest/) dined with author Kiriti Sengupta, Bitan Chakraborty (founder of Hawakaal Publishers), and Vibha Malhotra at a little Chinese joint called Fa Yian in Connaught Place.
It was an interesting get together and we also got the first glimpse of Sankarak - The Literary Fusion, a tiny anthology that will be unveiled at the event tomorrow. This is the collection of the six winning entries of the My Glass of Wine contest.
At the event, 5 poets who have been handpicked by the organizers and the authors will be reading their works too. It is going to be much more than a book launch.
If you are free tomorrow at 6pm, please feel free to join us at Oxford Bookstore. You are welcome with your family and friends. The event is open to all.
