While in Kolkata, we were staying in Elgin and there was plan to explore the city in night with The Beacon team. Before we met, I was suggested by Sohail to visit Bikers Cafe for dinner. This post shares about the experience at Bikers Cafe and few interesting facts.
The cafe is near Forum Mall in Elgin. We walked from our hotel to Bikers Cafe and it was around 8pm. There were few folks already at the cafe, but most of it was empty. The first impression after entering into the cafe was 'wow'. The ambiance of the place is amazing, with brilliant lighting and thoughtful interiors.
Staff at Bikers Cafe is very courteous. They ensured that we are enjoying out meal, our glasses are filled with water. While we were waiting for the meal, one of them came and said 'sorry that order is taking time, hope you are getting bored', with a smile. Of course, we were not in hurry so it was ok.
We ordered Ratatouille and Mezze platter (non veg). It took some time to get our plates on table but when it arrived, the plates looked awesome.
The food was awesome and quantity was also reasonable, although would have preferred little more. For 2 people, you definitely need to order 3 dishes. So essentially a meal for 2 with drinks would cost around 2500 Rs.
Soon after we entered, more folks started coming in and then we realized that cafe a game zone for kids. Some of the kids preferred going to the game zone before taking a seat with family. Sounded like a good idea to enjoy some games till food arrives on the table.
