This week The Claridges had invited few blogger for a tour of the property (at least, this is what I understood). This Photo Journey shares some of the photographs clicked through the tour of The Claridges, New Delhi.
This photograph is clicked inside the famous Dhaba restaurant of Claridges. It was closed at the time we were exploring the property. It opens at 7pm for dinner.
There is huge green lawn in front of the entry of The Claridges hotel. October is probably the best time to have a seat in the lawn and enjoy your drinks/food. I am not sure if it's also used during summers.
This is just in front of main entry of The Claridges hotel in New Delhi. Just after the reception there is a hall with appropriate seating arrangements for guests.
After high tea and some snacks, we headed towards the swimming pool area. It seemed that buffet was being setup around the pool and this setup caught my attention.
When we visited the pool, there were very few folks around , but it seemed that place was getting ready for some evening party.
The Claridges has a Crayon Art Gallery, which is located near reception area.
The Crayon Art Gallery is adjoining the bakery (Ye Old Bakery) inside The Claridges Hotel.
There are multiple restaurants at The Claridges - Sevilla, Dhaba, Pickwicks, Jade, Ye Old Bakery, Aura ...
Above 2 photographs are again from Dhaba restaurant. I am sure that "ठेका " would have caught your attention as well.
After taking a tour, we headed to one of the suites at the Claridges and had interesting chit-chat about photography, dogs, Gurgaon etc. :) ...
Finally we headed towards Jade restaurant, which has very different ambiance. Jade serves authentic Chinese cuisine.
