I had heard a lot of Khan Chacha, but never tried rolls there. And I never attempted to be in Khan market, specially to try khan Chacha's roll because lot of hyped places in Delhi disappointed me most of the times. Few weeks back, we were roaming around Khan Market and saw Khan Chacha's outlet on first floor, so thought of going there and checking the place.
I had never imagined such a huge place for rolls. I always imagined the place as a counter from where you can get your roll and move on.
It's a normal looking place with seating arrangements on first as well as second floor. Most of the walls are covered with photographs of celebrities who visited Khan Chacha in past.
There is a counter on first floor, where you need to place the order and give one of the slips at delivery counter. Then you need to wait for some time. Apart from Rolls, you can order different types of kebabs, Biryani, gravies and bread. We ordered a mutton roll and chicken Biryani.
During the waiting time, we came up to the second floor. Some part of it is open and the weather was favorable for outside seating. There are screens put on second floor as well, so that people can go down and pick the food, when their order number is flashed.
Vibha and I liked the roll, although we had better rolls few days back near NIFT Green Park. There is a a roll kiosk just opposite to NIFT gate. If you are around that area, do try his rolls and share your inputs with us through comments. And the biryani served was average. So if you plan to visit Khan Chacha, you can avoid Biryani there and enjoy delicious rolls.
I intend to go there again and have only rolls. Let's see how the next experience is.
