World of Recycle - An interesting Photography Exhibition curated by Aditya Arya

a Photography Exhibition 'World of Recycle' is inaugurated at Indian International Centre, Delhi. This show is organized by India Photo Archive Foundation . Mr Aditya Arya has curated the show and there are 9 Artists showcasing their work. It's a unique show happening in town and a must visit. Nine Artists include - Cheena Kapoor, Monica Tiwari, Manu Yadav, Rahul Sharma, Saumya Khandelwal, Shweta Pandey, Siddharth Behl, Sreedeep and Swarat Ghosh.Instead of saying anything about the show, I would highly recommend a visit to this show. Show is on till 11th April, so do find time and see some of the inspiring Photography art-works at India International Centre. Every artist has worked on different aspects of recycling and the work shows the amount of effort they have put in. Apart from the effort of thinking through the idea, executing it; each artists has put finer details in final presentation.Exhibition is inaugurated by Ashok Khosla who is an Indian environmentalist currently based in Delhi. He received his PhD in experimental physics from Harvard University in 1969 with a doctoral dissertation in the hyperfine structure of hydrogen halide isotopes. He is the co-chair of United Nations Environment Programme International Resource Panel (UNEP-IRP) and is internationally known for pioneering and contributing to “sustainable development. He is recognized for popularizing the word and concept of “sustainability " in international forums. He was actively involved in various projects that defined the environmental views and activities of institutions such as UNEP, UNESCO , UNU, the U.S. Academy of Sciences, IUCN and ICSU.This show is part of Neel Dongre Grant , which is given to various artists every year. If you are working on a Photography project and intend to take your project to a different level, do check out more about Neel Dongre Grant at shared link.Shweta has used a different printing medium and you must talk to her to know more about the whole process and why she chose this printing medium.This wall was attracting lot of eyeballs in the exhibition halls and like Shweta's work, every artist has different style of presentation.One of the artists Rahul Sharma has clicked his photographs on black and white medium and then painted the photographs, which looked great on one of the adjacent walls. Swarat was here in Delhi for inauguration. He will be back to Hyderabad tomorrow. He is showing an interesting story of Garbage pickers from Hyderabad. Do you remember the folks who used to take your old cloths for steel utensils?
