After 'Tajmahal ka Tender', we planned to visit NSD Summer Theatre festival last weekend for 'Ghazab Teri Adaa'. The action of play takes place in imaginary time and place which revolves arounf the never ending aspiration for the expansion of the kingdom and is the constant battle for the continuous fights in the battle field. A beautiful play which engages audience through musical commentary on aftermaths of war. It's not only about musical commentary but a good mix of humor and emotions.
The play begins with the farewell address to soldiers for 100th warEverybody assembles to bid farewell to soldiers. Women happily send away their husband and sons being unaware about the brutal consequences of war.
I don't want to disclose the story here, and encourage you to visit National School of Drama to see this play, when it's showcased again.
Women of the kingdom came together and planned to make soldiers & kind aware of human values. Idea was to discourage wars.
When soldiers came back from the war, each lady in the region declined to have any physical intimacy. Some humorous scenes take the story forward.
