Looking Back at May 2016 || Exploring the two forms of art - Representational and Abstract

Abstract forms of expression, be it literature, fine art, photography, or music, has always been something of an enigma. While some people swear by abstract, others simply refuse to acknowledge it as art. In contrast, representational art is comparatively easy to comprehend for those of us who do not have a philosophical bent of mind.

But that is the level at which abstract art works. It exists in a space that is beyond words. It is that layer that adds mystery and romance to life. The unspoken words, the unshed tears - all things that are understood only by people who exist as much on the meta level as on the physical plane. Abstract is the secret language they speak.

In contrast, representational is comforting. It is upfront. It has no hidden agenda. It has no secrets. It is what it is. It is innocent like a child even if it depicts gruesome incident.

Both forms of art have their own space, their own set of people who appreciate and understand them. And it is in this tone that we bring to you this special interview. When does photography become art? Read this to find your answers.

Tips and Tricks:

If you liked this post and found it helpful, I would request you to follow these things when traveling -

- Manage your waste well and don’t litter
- Use dustbins. Tell us if you went to a place and found it hard to locate a dustbin.
- Avoid bottle waters in hills. Usually you get clean water in hills and water bottles create lot of mess in our ecosystem.
- Say big no to plastic and avoid those unhealthy snacks packed in plastic bags. Rather buy fruits.
- Don't play loud blaring music in forests of jungle camps. You are a guest in that ecosystem and disturbing the locals (humans and animals) is not polite
