Many times I reach places which I never planned to visit. Cubbon Park is one of such place which came my way when I was walking around Vidhan Soudha in Banglore. I consider walking at one of the best ways to explore place, because of various reasons. You easily get familiar with neighbourhood and get better understanding of the directions.
I was walking from Vidhan Soudha to Art Museum in Banglore and I missed the short way which is through high court. And on the little longer route, I had to cross through Cubbon Park. I must say that it was very interesting and inviting. I went inside the park and spent some time around these huge trees and green landscapes. Above photograph is clicked just outside the Cubbon Park.
Cubbon Park is just opposite to Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengauru. This is one of the inside roads which connects to Government Museum on other end. It's called Queens Road. There is also a kids zone at the end of this road and other side of Cubbon Park.
Cubbon park is huge and you can't ignore it if you plan to visit Vidhan Soudha, Visveshvarya Science Museum, Government Aquarium or Art Gallery. All these places are around Cubbon Park.
There is a huge area inside the Cubbon Park, which has bamboo plantations. And there is huge variety of bamboo in Cubbon park. Lot of folks visit this portion of the park for photography. There was a group of photography enthusiasts who were trying different things with patterns of bamboos.
Cubbon Park in Bengaluru and more Lodhi Garden in Delhi, not completely but some of the views in parks remind of some special parks or gardens in different cities of India.
Lot joggers and sports enthusiasts can be seen around Cubbon park in morning. By the time I reached the park, folks were walking out. Couples and tourists were coming in.
