It's a very interesting travel story which will always remain in my memories of San Jose visit, especially Santana Row. Santana row is a outdoor shopping mall and quite popular place in San Jose. This is pretty close to Winchester Mystery house. This place is popular for some of the top brands, good restaurants and some of the most common places to shop like BestBuy.
Santana Row is a nice place to walk around and explore some of the interesting showrooms & food here. During my visits to San Jose, I went to this place twice but this visit was little interesting. One of my friends wanted to see the latest model of Tesla which was launched a few weeks back and we entered into Tesla showroom. We were greeted with a handsome executive in the showroom and we told him that we are not really buying a car but want to check out this new model.
As we moved deep inside the Tesla showroom, the guy started showing up the features of this car (I don't remember exact model of the car, but I am sure my friend would know as he likes knowing about cars & related news.). During the conversation, this guy asks us if we are visiting US for business and for how long we are here in California. Conversation continued and then he asked if we are from Mumbai region or some other part of the country. Gradually discussion started happening around Cricket and the guy shares that Ajit Agarkar ia his real uncle. We could relate to it as he looked like Ajit and especially eyes resemled a lot. If you dont understand what I mean, google closeup photograph of Ajit Agarkar and notice his eyes :).
Thats how our visit became very special and the exploration continued. We walked around the place and checked out some of the showrooms. Most of them were quite expensive for us, so we chose to do some shopping at H&M and BestBuy.
Then we headed to have dinner in one of the Indian restaurants. Enjoyed out meal and headed back in Uber. This was a pretty short visit to Santana Row after office
