Christmas is one of the best times of the year in San Francisco Bay Area and many of it's downtowns like Redwood City, San Carlos, Paulo Alto, Mountain View, San Jose etc. Not only that, lot of restaurant, pubs and bars do special arrangements for folks to celebrate the festive season. This blog-post shares some of the photographs of Redwood City Downtown.
All these photographs of Christmas mood are clicked phone camera. These are clicked on same evening. Redwood City Downtown is pretty close to my office, so I walked to the town during one of the evenings to witness Christmas Lighting. Apart from these downtowns, restaurants and bars, various houses on the street were well lit. Folks start buying various kinds of Christmas Lights from beginning of December. I loved seeing these 2 huge trees decorated with colourful lights. Please notice the size of people walking down. That would give you better perspective about height of these trees in Redwood City Downtown.
While I was in San Francisco Bay Area for a business trip, many of my friends were trying to find a Christmas Trees for Christmas decorations at home. I got to know that there are farms who grow Christmas trees and one can buy. There are usually different sized trees, so you can chose the one which is suitable for your house and aligns well with you decoration plans. The Weird thing I found that these trees are cut and then brought to homes. That made me wonder how many tress are cut during Christmas month and is that healthy for our environment. I am sure there are appropriate justifications for each thought but end of the day these festivals are encouraging economies as well. And this business of growing the trees to cut them during Christmas is one of such businesses.
While walking around Redwood City Downtown, I noticed restaurants getting ready for one of the evenings. And when I was heading back, all these places were full of people on the dinner tables. Above photograph shows one of the fire-pits which are installed around the dining area. December is pretty chilly in San Francisco Bay Area. These fire-towers help keeping the place warm and comfortable to enjoy the meal. Christmas Lights were also all around these restaurants. Even the small plants between the dining tables were well lit with colourful lights of Christmas.
Christmas Songs can be enjoyed in some of the special evenings hosted in restaurants. Above photograph shows well lit trees of Redwood City Downtown. Although this one is not special lighting for Christmas. Redwood City has this beautiful lighting throughout the year but the town gets special attention during Christmas Month.
When we are talking about Christmas, how can we forget about Christmas Sale in various online portals as well as some of the popular stores. I spent some time checking out stores in the downtown and could grab few good deals.

2. Tell us if you went to a place and found it hard to locate a dustbin.
3. Avoid bottle waters in hills. Usually you get clean water in hills and water bottles create lot of mess in our ecosystem.
4. Say big no to plastic and avoid those unhealthy snacks packed in plastic bags. Rather buy fruits.
5. Don't play loud blaring music in forests of jungle camps. You are a guest in that ecosystem and disturbing the locals (humans and animals) is not polite
