Whenever you search Big Sur, you get to se a beautiful bridge in photographs and more than it's real name, it's known as a symbol of Big Sur. Interestingly Bixby Creek Bridge on the Big Sur coast of California is one of the most photographed bridges in California due to its aesthetic design and that should not surprise anyone.
Bixby Creek Bridge is a reinforced concrete open-spandrel arch bridge, which is 120 miles south of San Francisco and 13 miles south of Carmel in Monterey County along State Route 1, which connected San Francisco with Los Angeles. Most of the cars coming to Big Sur are parked here to enjoy wonderful views of this bridge and magnificent Pacific ocean.

This bridge is also known as Bixby Canyon Bridge. Before Bixby Creek Bridge existed, residents of the Big Sur area were virtually cut off during winter due to blockages on the often impassable Old Coast Road. Bixby Creek Bridge is one of the tallest single-span concrete bridges in the world.
