South Congress ( SOCO ) - The Wonderful Shopping District of Austin with Exceptional Vibe, Great Restaurants/Pubs, Live-music in New Mexico, USA
Austin is beautiful and has parks, walks, architecture and lot more, but it's soul is in South Congress Avenue and today we are bringing this blogpost to share about why SOCO is must visit place in Austin city when you are in New Mexico state of USA. After taking the best walk around Lady Bird Lake near Downtown, I came back to South Congress Avenue for a quick stroll and this Photo Journey shares some photographs along with some details which can help you plan your visit well.
South Congress Avenue has a very different vibe and I recommend going there in second half of the day or in evening. Austin people love coming here after their busy days and enjoy their drinks/meal with live music. Most of the restaurants or pubs have live music arrangements in Austin and in SOCO it's unlevelled to a different level. Above photograph shows a small ice-cream shop with huge queue outside it. Seems like Austin people are crazy about ice-cream by Amy's Ice-cream. I was thinking about getting into the queue but I realised that it's moving very slow and will easily take 45 mins for me to get my order. So I skipped and moved on.
