The Beautiful Mount Bunnell - One of the most popular tourist attractions with stunning panoramic views of Colorado river surrounded by posh neighbourhood of Austin City, New Mexico, USA
During my recent visit to Austin, I visited quite a few places around Austin city and if I have to pick top 3 places or things to do, I will certainly mention a hike to Mount Bunnell. And here please note that I am talking about the 'hike' to Mount Bunnell. In this blogpost we shall share about how to reach Mount Bunnell from different parts of Austin, what to do there and how to plan your visit in such a way that you make best of your time.
There is no public transportation which can take you to Mount Bunnell. I took bus to nearest station, from where I had to walk for 30 minutes to reach Mount Bunnell and I must mention that this walk was beautiful. This whole stretch crosses through some huge mansions and each of them tell a unique story. It was very clear to me that I am heading towards one of the poshest neighbourhood of Austin. Above photograph shows one of the houses I crossed to reach Mount Bunnell. When I reached back at the hotel, I was curious to know about the price of these houses and certainly they are super expensive but not as expensive as some of the posh neighbourhoods of San Francisco Bay Area. Anyways, that's not the right comparison may be.
