Zuri White Sands Goa Resorts and Casino - A beautiful & popular place to stay around Varca Beach in South Goa

When I was blogging about the recent trip to Goa, I realised that I never shared about Zuri White Sands resort on Varca beach of South Goa. This is a place worth mentioning on the blog because of multiple reasons and we shall talk about all that in this blogpost. Why one should consider this resort to stay in Goa and why not as well. This is not a sponsored blogpost and all viewpoints are personal on the basis of my own experience there.

Above photograph shows me on Varca beach and in jeans :). Just after checking in, we were excited to see the beach and it was irresistible to not go inside the water.

Zuri White Sand Resort is one of the popular luxury resorts in South Goa and you can get some interesting deals in monsoons. In fact, interesting deals can be found in monsoons for most of the 5 star properties in South Goa as well as North Goa.

On reaching Zuri While Sand Resort, we were warmly welcomed to the property. Above is the photograph on main lobby at Zuri White Sand Resort. The welcome/reception area is huge and very well designed with natural elements, elegant furniture and colourful interiors. There is a area in a middle of the reception area through which whole space gets natural light. Probably you will be able to figure it out through above photograph. Isn't that amazing?

It was time for lunch, which was pretty good with great variety of options. One needs to take stairs from the lobby to reach this beautiful restaurant which is just front of the main swimming pool of Zuri. This is a huge hall with grand height, which can be an appropriate place for shooting different kinds of movie shots :).

I enjoyed all the meals I had at Zuri White Sands resort in Goa and sea food options were too good. Unfortunately I don't have enough photographs from this visit and may be that can be a good reason to plan another stay at Zuri White Sands Resort. Certainly I ate a lot during this trip and not only at the resort, we went to different other places around the beach which offer great variety of sea food with good beer.

Just in front of the resort's main area, there are few swimming pools. You read it right. Multiple pools are there. The one you see in above photograph is common pool and a huge one. This pool is then connected to another one which goes to the front of resort rooms and that looks more like a water canal but used by guests.

While walking around the place, we came across this huge chess-board made in the lawns. At that time, I saw it for the first time and over time I came across something like this at various other places and television :). This looked too cool. Few kids were playing around this area and the place was looking even more beautiful.

Guess what it is? It's easy to guess if you can find the category of this object and how it can be related to Goa. And if you want to buy them in Goa to take back as souvenirs, Zantye's in Panjim.

Most of the beaches in South Goa are relatively calm & peaceful, but still you get all those options of water-sports which you find in crowded beaches in North. hmm, let me think again - South Goan beaches have become crowded over the years. Basically South Goa used to be expensive in comparison to North Goa, but the scenario has changed. Lot of people like to be in secluded areas instead of crowded north Goan beaches, so changing tourism trends have made changes.

This is sort of private beach of Zuri White Sands Resort and they have appropriate arrangements to relax, enjoy your drinks and have great time around the beach.

There is this ship around the beach area of Zuri White Sands Goa, but is that unique anymore? Interestingly I have been to a few pubs/restaurants on beachside in Goa which have used the same template. In today's world, it's quite challenging for businesses to show unique value, weather that's related to food, services, designs etc.

You find lot of jackfruit trees in Goa and even in various parts of south India. During this trip, we saw many of them.

This view would give you a sense that how this swimming pool is going through different cottages and guests have easy access to the pool around their rooms.
