During out road trip to Rajasthan, Ashish and Avidha treated us at the famous Amber restaurant in Udaipur on occasion of their wedding anniversary. It was a lovely evening spent together with good meal & drinks. This fine dining restaurant around Lake Pichola and the place offer exceptional views of the lake during sunset. So enjoying late evening meal at the restaurant is a special experience. 

As soon as you step into Amber, you are greeted with an opulent ambiance that is sure to take your breath away. The decor is tastefully done with an emphasis on traditional Rajasthani architecture, including intricate jali work, hand-painted murals etc. The seating is comfortable, and the tables are impeccably set with fine cutlery and crockery.

One of the standout dishes at Amber is the Laal Maas, which is a traditional Rajasthani lamb curry made with red chili paste and a blend of aromatic spices. The dish is spicy, rich, and bursting with flavor, making it a must-try for anyone who loves Indian food. Adhira was super excited about mutton and she enjoyed that at Amber. 

Another highlight of Amber is the Tandoori Jhinga, which is a succulent prawn dish marinated in yogurt and spices and cooked in a traditional tandoor oven. The prawns are perfectly cooked, with a smoky flavor that is hard to resist.
